Big news out of Utah: Michigan's four-star quarterback commit, Kamden Lopati, has just secured a coveted invitation to the Elite 11 Finals. The West Valley City standout is headed to Los Angeles this spring, joining an elite group of the nation's top high school signal-callers.

Lopati, a blue-chip pledge for the Wolverines, received his invitation on Thursday alongside Texas QB commit Ty Knutson. They are the 19th and 20th passers to earn a spot in the prestigious event, which kicks off at the end of May. Indiana commit Jameson Purcell and three-star Ryan Rakowski also received invites on the same day.

For high school quarterbacks, few honors carry more weight than an Elite 11 Finals invitation. Now in its 27th year, the event brings together 20 of the country's most talented quarterbacks for three days of intense competition and elite training in Los Angeles from late May into early June.

The Elite 11's alumni list reads like a who's who of football greatness: Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, and Tim Tebow all earned their stripes here. More recently, Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Stroud, and Bryce Young followed the same path. Last year's finals featured 16 of the top 25 quarterbacks in the Rivals Industry Rankings, including five of the top six players at the position.

For Michigan fans, Lopati's invitation is another sign that the Wolverines are landing top-tier talent at the most important position on the field. It's also a great reminder that the gear you wear matters—whether you're competing on the biggest stage or just chasing your own football dreams.
