Alabama is taking on the 2026 SEC Softball Tournament semifinals.

The No. 2-seeded Crimson Tide (48-6, 20-5 SEC) began its postseason run with a 7-1 win over No. 7 Arkansas (42-11, 15-10) after receiving a two-day bye. Alabama went scoreless through the first three innings, but four home runs and a complete game from Jocelyn Briski kept the win within reach.

Alabama softball will next take on No. 3 Florida (48-9, 17-7) in the tournament semifinals. The Gators survived a quarterfinal scare Thursday, holding off No. 14 Auburn for a 10-9 win.

First pitch in the Alabama softball vs. Florida matchup is set for 4 p.m. CT Friday, May 8 in the semifinals.
