The Chicago White Sox own the first overall pick in this summer's MLB Draft.

There's a clear favorite to be selected first overall, but recent reports suggest the White Sox aren't yet sure what to do.

"The Chicago White Sox remain uncertain who they will draft with the No. 1 pick in July, and insist they have not committed to taking UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky, the consensus top player in the draft," USA Today's Bob Nightengale wrote. "It’s also unclear, several executives say, whether the White Sox are Cholowsky’s top preference."

Cholowsky would be the most obvious pick for the White Sox. The 21-year-old is tearing the cover off the ball in 44 games at UCLA, hitting .331/.462/.710 with 18 home runs and 10 doubles.

"Frankly, it's not all that surprising Chris Getz doesn't want to reveal his plan months ahead of time," FanSided's Mark Powell wrote Tuesday. "The White Sox are right to consider all their options, especially as their scouts in the field attend college and high school games across the country."

Time is running out for the White Sox to make a decision. There are likely several other organizations hoping that Cholowsky falls to them in the draft.
