The NCAA transfer portal is about to welcome another significant name, as Wake Forest guard Myles Colvin intends to enter, according to a report from On3's Joe Tipton. After a single season with the Demon Deacons, the former Purdue Boilermaker is set to test the market once again, seeking his next collegiate home.

Colvin quickly established himself as a key contributor in Winston-Salem this past season. Appearing in 35 games, he earned a regular starting role, averaging over 27 minutes per contest under Coach Steve Forbes. His stat line was solid and efficient: 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, while shooting 40.3% from the field and a respectable 36% from beyond the arc.

The 6'5" guard proved he could be a high-level scorer on his day, with two explosive performances highlighting his potential. In mid-December, he torched Queens for 33 points, draining seven three-pointers. He nearly replicated that feat two months later against ACC foe Syracuse, dropping 32 points with another seven triples, adding eight rebounds and three assists in both standout games.

Colvin's decision adds to the fluid landscape of college basketball's offseason, where a proven scorer with size and shooting touch will undoubtedly attract significant interest from programs looking to bolster their backcourt.
