The spring sports season is heating up across Delaware, and Week 3 delivered some truly standout performances. Now, it's your turn to step up to the plate and help crown the Delaware Online High School Sports Athlete of the Week, presented by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists.

From the diamond to the pitch, this week's nominees have shown incredible skill and determination. Their achievements are a testament to the hard work that defines high school athletics. Let's meet the contenders who left it all on the field this past week.

On the baseball diamond, Concord's Ryan McAllister showcased his power with two doubles and two triples across two games. Meanwhile, Appoquinimink's Gavin Miller drove in multiple runs with three hits in a commanding 17-0 victory.

In softball, Saint Mark's Tanai Tippens was a force at the plate, racking up three hits in one game and launching a two-run homer in another to help secure two wins for her team.

The action wasn't limited to the diamond. Tower Hill's Charlotte Vanni dominated in girls lacrosse, finding the net an impressive seven times. On the soccer field, Wilmington Friends' Katharine Weigand orchestrated a 6-1 win by scoring four goals and adding an assist.
