USC head coach Eric Musselman is making serious waves this offseason, and the latest addition to the Trojans' roster is a big one. South Dakota transfer guard Isaac Bruns has officially committed to USC, as confirmed by his agent Daniel Poneman of WEAVE to On3.

Standing at 6-foot-5, the junior guard was a scoring machine before a season-ending foot injury in mid-January cut his campaign short. In just 20 games, Bruns averaged an impressive 20.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while shooting over 39% from beyond the arc. At the time of his injury, he was leading the Summit League in scoring and ranked 15th nationally in points per game—a testament to his offensive firepower.

Bruns becomes the fifth addition via the NCAA transfer portal for Musselman, joining a talented group that includes UConn center Eric Reibe (5.9 PPG), Georgetown guard KJ Lewis (14.9 PPG), Colgate guard Jalen Cox (17.9 PPG), and Lindenwood guard Jadis Jones (15.3 PPG). With this influx of talent, USC is clearly building a roster designed to compete at the highest level.

But the Trojans aren't just reloading through the portal—they're also dominating the high school recruiting trail. USC holds the No. 3 overall recruiting class, headlined by three McDonald's All-Americans: five-star small forward Christian Collins (ranked No. 6 nationally), four-star center Adonis Ratliff (No. 19), and four-star center Darius Ratliff (No. 30). This blend of veteran transfers and elite young talent gives Musselman a deep and versatile roster.

Adding to the excitement, USC is set to return three starters: guard Rodney Rice (20.3 PPG in six games), guard Alijah Arenas (14.1 PPG), and forward Jacob Cofie (9.9 PPG). With Bruns joining this core, the Trojans are shaping up to be a must-watch team next season.

Whether you're a die-hard USC fan or just love following the ever-changing landscape of college basketball, one thing is clear: the Trojans are building something special. Stay tuned for more updates as the roster continues to take shape.
