Day 1 of the 2026 NFL draft is in the books, and the Tennessee Titans made a splash in the first round by adding two potential impact players in Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate, fourth overall, and trading back into the round for Auburn edge Keldric Faulk.

After all of the fireworks were complete, general manager Mike Borgonzi met with the media in Nashville to discuss the Titans’ haul.

"Real excited about the two guys we added here tonight," Borgonzi said. "Carnell Tate, we thought he was the best receiver in the draft. And then coming back up and getting Keldric Faulk, who really fits this defense. I mean, long, can play outside, inside. Looking back to some of (Robert) Saleh's defenses, too, it reminded me a little bit of (Arik) Armstead when he had him there in San Francisco. So, really excited about adding these two guys here tonight. Great character guys, too."

With the selections of Tate and Faulk, the Titans not only addressed significant needs early in the draft with talented prospects who fit their system, but also continued to rebuild the culture within the organization with two high-character leaders.

Day 2 of the draft will kick off tonight, and after the move to grab Faulk in the first round, Tennessee is not scheduled to make a selection until pick No. 69 in the third round.
