The Houston Texans are locking in their future, announcing the signing of three more draft picks to four-year rookie contracts. This latest wave of signings adds key depth to the roster as the team builds toward the upcoming season.

On Wednesday, the Texans officially inked fourth-round linebacker Wade Woodaz, fifth-round safety Kamari Ramsey, and sixth-round wide receiver Lewis Bond. These moves continue the franchise's commitment to strengthening all three phases of the game through the draft.

Kamari Ramsey brings a versatile skill set to the secondary. A two-year contributor at both UCLA and USC, the safety tallied an impressive 133 tackles, 9.5 sacks, two interceptions, 11 passes defensed, and two forced fumbles over 35 career college games. His ability to play both in the box and in coverage should provide immediate competition in the defensive backfield.

On the offensive side, Lewis Bond adds reliable hands and production. The Boston College product caught 213 passes for 2,385 yards and 11 touchdowns across 46 games over five seasons. His route-running and consistency could make him a valuable target in the Texans' passing attack.

In a corresponding roster move, the team waived defensive end Xavier Thomas with an injury designation. Thomas, a fifth-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2024, spent the end of last season on Houston's practice squad. His departure opens a spot as the team continues to finalize its 53-man roster.

With these signings, the Texans are clearly investing in young talent—and for fans, that means more exciting names to watch in training camp and beyond.
