KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Terrence Hill Jr., a guard with Virginia Commonwealth University’s basketball team has committed to transfer to Tennessee basketball, according to Rocky Top Insider.
Hill, 20, will be coming off his sophomore year where he scored an average of 15 points per game. Rocky Top Insider reported that he visited both Tennessee and Kansas recently but ultimately chose Tennessee.
The Vols lost several players to the transfer portal during the offseason including, Amari Evans, Clarence Massamba, Cade Phillips, Jaylen Carey, J.P. Estrella, and Bishop Boswell. They have gained other players such as Jalen Haralson and Tyler Lundblade.
