Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Gennings Dunker is turning heads—not just for his talent on the field, but for a game-day diet that has the NFL world buzzing. The third-round pick out of Iowa, projected to switch from offensive tackle to guard, has been sharing his jaw-dropping meal plan, and fans can't get enough.
It all starts the night before the game. At 5:30 p.m., Dunker fuels up with two to three servings of pasta with meat sauce, bread rolls, a 12-ounce steak, and two servings of fruit. Then, just three hours later, he follows it up with three hamburgers, three bags of Baked Lay's, a hydration mix, and hot chocolate. If that sounds like a lot, just wait.
Game day begins at 7:15 a.m. with four servings of toast, two bowls of Wheaties, pancakes, and two chicken breasts. Two hours later, he adds another four servings of toast and a chicken breast. Most of us would be done, but Dunker saves the best for last: a post-game trip to Culver's for a Double Bacon Cheeseburger, family-sized cheese curds or onion rings, and three sides of ranch.
Dunker's massive frame and relentless appetite have Steelers fans excited for what's to come. With a vacancy on the left side of the offensive line, his unique fueling strategy might just be the secret weapon Pittsburgh needs. If his diet is any indication, this rookie is ready to make a big impact in 2026.
