The Saints add to their WRs room at No. 8, selecting wideout Jordyn Tyson out of Arizona State. Here’s everything you need to know.

2022 (Colorado): (9 games played, 3 starts), 22 receptions, 470 receiving yards, 4 receiving touchdowns

2024 (Arizona State): (12 games played, 12 starts), 75 receptions, 1,101 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns, Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-Big 12, Big 12 Newcomer of the Year

2025 (Arizona State): (9 games played, 9 starts), 61 receptions, 711 receiving yards, 8 receiving touchdowns, Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-Big 12

Tyson is a physically dominant wideout who has fought through a number of injuries throughout his career to still be considered among the top players at his position in this year’s draft. Despite missing half a dozen games from 2024-2025, Tyson earned back-to-back Third-Team All-American honors after totaling 1,800+ receiving yards and 18 total touchdowns. He also helped the Sun Devils to their first ever appearance in the College Football Playoff. Tyson will thrive early with a quarterback who is willing to trust his young wideout to make plays and is willing to gut through the drawbacks that may come with his skillset early on.

Alpha mentality who plays larger than his size, even at 6’2

Impressive upper-body strength (26 reps on bench press)

Attacks defender’s blind spot to create easier separation at top of route

Injury history (Tore MCL, ACL, and PCL in 2022, broken collarbone in 2024, missed 4 games with hamstring injury in 2025)

Failed to stay healthy for an entire season all throughout college
