Wake Forest basketball has added a new piece to its frontcourt puzzle, securing a commitment from Virginia Tech transfer forward Antonio Dorn. The news, reported by DraftExpress's Jonathan Givony, gives the Demon Deacons an intriguing prospect with international experience.
During the 2025-26 season with the Hokies, Dorn saw action in 24 games, earning five starts. In his limited minutes, averaging 8.5 per contest, he posted averages of 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds. His role is one the Wake Forest coaching staff will look to expand as they build their roster for the competitive ACC slate.
Dorn brings a unique path to Winston-Salem. Before his time in Blacksburg, he honed his skills for two seasons playing professionally in Germany's second division with the Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim. This overseas experience could provide valuable maturity and a different perspective on the game. With two years of eligibility remaining, Dorn has a significant opportunity to develop into a key contributor for the Demon Deacons.
