The Baltimore Ravens have officially added two new quarterbacks to their roster, signing undrafted free agents Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano on Friday. The moves, which were anticipated earlier in the week, bring fresh competition to the quarterback room alongside star Lamar Jackson and veteran backup Snoop Huntley.
Pavia, a Heisman Trophy runner-up during his standout season at Vanderbilt, brings a dynamic playmaking ability that turned heads in college football. Fagnano, meanwhile, started 45 games at UConn, showcasing durability and experience at the collegiate level. Both players will have their first opportunity to prove themselves at this weekend's rookie minicamp, where they'll compete for a spot on the 90-man roster.
The quarterback additions are part of a larger wave of 19 undrafted rookies joining the Ravens. The team has a strong history of developing overlooked talent, and this year's class is no exception. Key signings include Wake Forest defensive back Ladarius Webb Jr., Memphis wide receiver Cortez Braham, and Iowa defensive tackle Aaron Graves. Other notable names include Cincinnati cornerback Matthew McDoom, Eastern Michigan running back Dontae McMillan, and Ole Miss tackle Diego Pounds.
Rounding out the group are Auburn defensive back Jahquez Robinson, Maryland wide receiver Octavian Smith, Louisville tackle Trevonte Sylvester, Michigan State running back Elijah Tau-Tolliver, and Miami (Ohio) safety Silas Walters. The Ravens also added defensive reinforcements with Charlotte linebacker Reid Williford, Syracuse defensive tackle Dion Wilson, Texas linebacker Ethan Burke, Penn State center Nick Dawkins, and Penn State linebacker Dominic DeLuca.
With the rookie minicamp set for this weekend, all eyes will be on these newcomers as they look to make an impression and carve out a role in Baltimore's competitive roster.
