Let’s look at the Las Vegas Raiders’ cornerback position after the draft.
Taron Johnson from Buffalo Bills, who were going to release Johnson. The Bills got a sixth-round pick and the Raiders got a seventh rounder.
Tennessee’s Jermod McCoy in fourth round (No. 101), California’s Hezekiah Masses in fifth round (No. 175).
Stokes, Darian Porter, Decamerion Richardson, Greedy Vance, Chigozie Anusiem
Stokes was a bright spot for Las Vegas last year as the former first-round pick played on a one-year deal. Johnson, 29, is three seasons removed from being a second-team All-Pro at nickel. Porter showed some promise as a rookie. McCoy is a big question. He has serious injury concerns and may not play as a rookie and there is no guarantee he’ll ever play. But if he can play this year, he will be an instant factor. He has CB 1 ability, Masses is probably slated to be more of a backup in 2026.
