Raiders draft 2026: Get to know Christen Miller

Las Vegas visiting with Georgia defensive tackle

The Las Vegas Raiders are doing their homework on a potential key piece for their new-look defense, reportedly hosting Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller for a pre-draft visit. A seasoned veteran from the powerhouse Bulldogs program, Miller brings significant experience to the table.

He was a mainstay on Georgia's defensive line, starting every game in the 2025 season and appearing in 43 career games overall. His final year stat line included 23 tackles, four tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks, showcasing his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield.

Miller's arrival in Las Vegas would be particularly timely. The Raiders are transitioning to a 3-4 base defense under first-year coordinator Rob Leonard, and a strong, experienced nose tackle is a crucial component for that scheme. Miller, considered one of the better players at his position in this draft class, looks like a natural fit to anchor the middle of the defensive line.

The big question is where he'll land. Projected as a second or third-round pick, the Raiders hold the 36th overall selection in the second round, which might be a slight reach. However, if they trade back to accumulate more picks or trade up in a later round, Miller could become a prime target. Waiting until their third-round pick at No. 67 could be a gamble, as another team in need of defensive line help might snatch him up first.
