The Miami Dolphins are leaving no stone unturned in their search for quarterback depth this offseason. After signing veteran Malik Willis in free agency last month, the team is now eyeing potential rookie additions ahead of next week's NFL Draft.
On Tuesday, the Dolphins hosted two intriguing quarterback prospects for visits, signaling a clear intent to bolster the position. According to reports, former Kansas star Jalon Daniels and ex-Iowa starter Mark Gronowski were both in Miami meeting with the team.
Daniels, who also recently visited the New England Patriots, brings a dynamic dual-threat ability to the table. Over his final two seasons with the Jayhawks, he amassed 4,985 passing yards with 36 touchdowns and added 843 rushing yards with 10 scores on the ground, showcasing the kind of athleticism that modern NFL offenses covet.
Gronowski offers a different profile, arriving with significant experience from South Dakota State before his transfer to Iowa. In his lone season as a Hawkeye, he proved to be a red-zone threat with his legs, rushing for an impressive 16 touchdowns while completing 63.4% of his passes.
With the draft just days away, these visits highlight Miami's strategy to create a competitive and versatile quarterback room, potentially adding a young, athletic arm to develop behind their established starters.
