Carolina's coaching staff will get its first on-field look at the team's first-year players during the three-day event.

The Carolina Panthers are gearing up for an exciting chapter as they prepare for NFL rookie minicamp, which kicks off Friday at Bank of America Stadium. General Manager Dan Morgan has been busy putting the final touches on the roster, and the team just announced a flurry of signings that signal a clear vision for the future.

"For me, it's always about right now, this season and what we're doing and trying to make sure that we can get the most out of guys," Morgan said after the draft. "We always start with our roster, but then trying to find guys that fit the traits and characteristics, personality of who the Panthers are. That's what we were looking for, to just get more of that."

Leading the charge, first-round pick Monroe Freeling has officially signed his rookie contract, joining six of the team's seven draft selections. The list of newly inked players includes third-round wide receiver Chris Brazzell II, fourth-round cornerback Will Lee III, fifth-round center Sam Hecht, fifth-round safety Zakee Wheatley, and seventh-round linebacker Jackson Kuwatch. These young athletes will get their first on-field look from the coaching staff during the three-day minicamp, a critical step in building chemistry and evaluating talent.

One notable holdout remains: second-round nose tackle Lee Hunter. While it might raise an eyebrow, this is standard practice across the league. Most second-round picks wait until the market settles before putting pen to paper. In fact, edge rusher Nic Scourton, the Panthers' 2024 second-rounder, didn't sign until just before training camp last year. All draft picks receive standard four-year contracts, with first-rounders also getting an option for a fifth season.

But the Panthers aren't stopping there. The team also announced the signing of 10 undrafted free agents (UDFAs) and received an international player exemption for England native Mapalo Mwansa. The linebacker will join as the 91st member of the offseason roster, adding depth and a global flair to the squad. Additionally, wide receiver Malick Meiga from Coastal Carolina is expected to join the team next week, per Panthers.com.

To make room for the new arrivals, the Panthers released linebacker Jacoby Windmon.

As the Panthers build for the season ahead, this weekend's minicamp is the first real taste of what's to come—and for fans, it's the perfect time to gear up in Panthers apparel and show support for the next generation of stars.
