In a thrilling CVAC matchup that came down to the wire, Peru edged out Lake Placid in a tiebreaker after both teams split their matches 3-3 on Friday. The Nighthawks ultimately secured the win with a combined score of 162-167, showcasing the kind of clutch performance that defines great spring golf.

"It was a great, close match that we won in the tiebreaker," Peru coach Ryon O'Connell said, praising his squad's composure under pressure. "Liam and Patrick Clark continue to play well this spring. Liam was the low man on the day with a 35, and Patrick added a 36."

The Clark brothers weren't the only ones stepping up for Peru. Paxton Akin also delivered a win for the Nighthawks, proving depth is key in these tight team battles. On the other side, Lake Placid's Blue Bombers fought hard with victories from Carver Bell, Nolan Clark, and Torin Fadden. Bell led his team with a solid 39 from the No. 1 spot, while Nolan Clark carded a 41 and Fadden added a 43.

Meanwhile, in Plattsburgh, the Hornets relied on medalist Jack Studley (44) and wins from Jarrett Lemos and Theodore Lemos to edge out their opponents. Michael Karam halved his match with the Vikings' Luke Reeder, adding another layer of drama to the day's action. For Moriah, No. 1 player Silas Reeder impressed with a 45-46 victory over the Hornets' Jacques Gervich, while Dane Spring also secured a win and posted the low score for the Vikings.

Over at the AuSable Club in Keene, the Beavers' Sam Crowl stole the show with a stunning even-par 33 to earn medalist honors. He was joined in the winner's circle by Brayden Harmer, Asa Sprague, Peter Robjent, Sylvan Linton, and Charlie Stringer, all of whom won their matches to keep Keene's momentum rolling.

From tight tiebreakers to standout individual performances, it was a day that reminded everyone why spring golf is so exciting—every shot counts, and every match can swing the outcome.
