The Green Bay Packers wasted no time getting their 2026 draft class locked in, signing five of six picks just before rookie minicamp kicked off on May 1. The lone holdout? Second-round cornerback Brandon Cisse—but don't worry, he's still on the field, protected by an injury agreement while his deal gets finalized.

Here's who put pen to paper: third-round defensive tackle Chris McClellan, fourth-round edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton, fifth-round center Jager Burton, sixth-round cornerback Domani Jackson, and sixth-round kicker Trey Smack. All five joined 10 undrafted free agents for the first day of practice, giving the coaching staff a full look at the new talent.

Draft-pick salaries are largely slotted based on cap space, so negotiations are usually smooth—except for first- and second-rounders, where guaranteed money can get sticky. Under the collective-bargaining agreement, every Packers draft pick will sign a four-year deal. First-rounders get a fifth-year club option, but since Green Bay didn't have a first-round pick this year, that's off the table. (They did, however, exercise the fifth-year option for 2023 first-rounder Lukas Van Ness this week.)

As for the undrafted free agent class, one notable name was missing from the official list: Wake Forest tight end Eni Falayi, who had been previously reported as signing. No word yet on whether that deal fell through or is still in the works.

With all but Cisse officially in the fold, the Packers' rookie class is nearly complete—and ready to hit the field.
