Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst checked boxes at cornerback and defensive tackle during Day 2 and will now go into Saturday's Day 3 with five more picks to make and no more pressing needs. The Packers stayed put and picked Brandon Cisse in the second round and then traded up to get Chris McClellan in the third round, adding long-term pieces at the roster's two biggest need positions.

Getting McClellan required the Packers to send a fifth-round pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to move up seven slots in the third round. Instead of having six picks on Day 3, the Packers will have just the five.

The Packers likely need more depth along the offensive line, and adding competition in backup spots at several spots, including quarterback and running back, are possible. Don't discount the possibility of the Packers double dipping at cornerback or defensive tackle with a second pick on Saturday.
