Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy recently sat down with Kay Adams and didn't hold back when discussing Coen's brilliance. "I'm gonna throw out a name that I thought—I think he's like the best play caller that I've seen over the last two years," Van Noy said. "And that's Liam Coen. I know he doesn't get talked about a lot in Jacksonville because it's a smaller market."

Van Noy, who has spent the last three seasons with the Ravens, knows a thing or two about elite competition. And even though Baltimore didn't face Jacksonville last season, he was watching closely from afar. "They were a nightmare. Everyone was like, holy hell. They were a problem," he recalled. "You get back to the sideline and you're like, 'We're gonna be in a dogfight, because these are crazy.' And they were just great concepts, great schemes. He was ahead of the curve when it comes to just being detailed."

That kind of respect from a seasoned veteran on a rival team speaks volumes. Van Noy didn't stop there, adding, "I think he's an awesome coordinator. I think he's only gonna be more and more successful as he gets comfortable in his head coaching role, as well as calling the plays. He does a phenomenal job."

For Jaguars fans, hearing this from an outsider only confirms what they've been feeling all season: Liam Coen is the real deal. And as he continues to settle into his head coaching role, the rest of the league might want to start paying closer attention to what's happening in Jacksonville.
