The Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball program is building serious momentum in the transfer portal. Head coach Jennie Baranczyk has secured a second major commitment in as many days, this time landing former five-star Kansas State guard Jordan Speiser.
Speiser, who announced her decision on Instagram, brings immediate scoring punch to Norman. As a freshman for the Wildcats, she averaged 10.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, showcasing her potential as a dynamic offensive weapon. Her shooting splits of 38% from the field and nearly 35% from beyond the arc, coupled with 19 double-digit scoring games, demonstrate a consistent ability to contribute.
Perhaps most impressive was her strong finish to the season. Speiser scored in double figures in seven of Kansas State's final nine games, catching fire at the perfect time. She dropped a pair of 20-point performances in the Big 12 Tournament, including key wins over Cincinnati and rival Oklahoma State, and led her team in scoring in their semifinal loss to TCU.
Her pedigree is undeniable. Rated as the No. 17 overall player and the No. 3 shooting guard in the 2025 class by the 247Sports composite, Speiser was a coveted five-star prospect. She now joins another former five-star guard, Keeley Parks, who committed to the Sooners just days earlier. This one-two portal punch signals Oklahoma's clear intent to bolster its backcourt with elite talent, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead in the SEC.
