The Kentucky Wildcats got some big news on Saturday, with the commitment of transfer portal guard Alex Wilkins. He joins Zoom Diallo as new additions so far. One player who won't be joining the Wildcats is former Colorado Buffaloes forward Sebastian Rancik.

Rancik was targeted as a good fit in Kentucky's system by coach Mark Pope. He even came to Lexington for a visit earlier in the week, but on Sunday, he announced his commitment to Florida State instead of Kentucky.

Last season, for the Buffaloes, Rancik averaged over 12 points and 5 rebounds per game. His ability to stretch the floor with his 33% three-point shooting made him a good fit for Pope's offense after last season's squad struggled in that area.

It's another miss for Pope, but there are other options for Kentucky, including Donnie Freeman, an elite talent that would be a big win for the Wildcats. Good luck to Rancik with the Seminoles and in the future.
