A major twist could be unfolding in Barcelona's summer transfer plans, with fresh reports suggesting that Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is willing to wait for his dream move to the Catalan giants. According to the latest from SPORT, the Serbian forward has put his contract renewal talks with Juventus on hold as he closely monitors the situations at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Vlahovic views Barcelona as his ultimate destination and is prepared to be patient, hoping that circumstances eventually open the door for a move to Camp Nou. However, at this stage, he is not considered a priority signing for the Blaugrana. The club had initially ruled him out while focusing on other attacking profiles better suited to Hansi Flick's system.

Barcelona are planning significant changes in attack this summer, as Flick has reportedly requested the arrival of a top-level striker who can bring mobility, technical quality, link-up play, and goals to the frontline. The dream target remains Julian Alvarez, but the complexity and financial hurdles of that deal have forced the club to explore alternative options.

Despite not being among Barcelona's main targets right now, Vlahovic believes a chance could emerge depending on what happens with Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Lewandowski's future is now viewed as the key factor in this situation. Barcelona are still waiting for the Polish striker's final decision on the one-year extension proposal currently on the table. While renewal discussions continue, the possibility of Lewandowski leaving this summer is growing stronger.

If the veteran striker eventually departs, Barcelona could look for a more traditional No. 9 to fill the void—a scenario Vlahovic sees as his opening. The report adds that Barcelona are aware of the Serbian striker's willingness to join, and that he would even be prepared to accept a backup role to make his dream move a reality.
