Indiana Hoosiers shooting guard Nick Dorn is on the move. The sharpshooter plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal after one season in Bloomington, opening the next chapter of his college basketball journey.

Dorn provided a scoring spark off the bench for the Hoosiers this past season, appearing in 30 games. He averaged 8.1 points per game while showcasing an efficient shooting stroke, hitting 38% of his attempts from beyond the arc. Over his three-year collegiate career, which began with two productive seasons at Elon, Dorn holds a career average of 10.7 points per game.

His confidence is as notable as his stat line. Teammates and coaches have consistently pointed to his unwavering self-belief, a trait every scorer needs. "Nick walks around like he’s cool and confident all the time," said Indiana guard Conor Enright. "It’s good, though... I need him to be confident all the time."

That mindset is fueled by a larger ambition. Dorn has never shied away from stating his ultimate goal: reaching the NBA. He thrives in high-pressure environments, stating, "I tend to like big crowds and when we’re the underdog. It just lights a different type of fire [in me]."

As he searches for a new program, Dorn brings proven perimeter shooting and a veteran presence to the portal. His next stop will be a crucial one as he looks to elevate his game and continue his pursuit of professional basketball.
