Things move fast in the NFL, especially when you get drafted in the first round. Just ask Ty Simpson.

The Alabama quarterback was the Los Angeles Rams’ first-round pick on Thursday night, and after being drafted, it was a whirlwind of 24 hours.

He did his media obligations at the draft in Pittsburgh, hopped on a plane and flew to Los Angeles to meet his new team. He also stopped by the Rams’ Block Party for the draft in Hollywood Park, talking to fans and playing fair games with them.

The Rams shared behind-the-scenes footage from Simpson's post-draft activities, showing what it's like for a college star to be drafted to the NFL.

Simpson was the 13th overall pick in the draft out of Alabama, landing in a perfect situation with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay in Los Angeles.
