The collegiate wrestling transfer portal has produced another significant move, with former Iowa Hawkeye Massoma Endene announcing his commitment to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on April 14th. This marks a new chapter for the accomplished wrestler as he joins the Trojans' program.
Endene brings a proven track record of success to his new team. Before his stint in the Big Ten with Iowa, he was a dominant force at the Division III level, capturing three national championships at 197 pounds for Wartburg College. During his 2025 season with the Hawkeyes, he compiled an impressive 6-1 record, showcasing his ability to compete at the highest level of the sport.
His time at Iowa was highlighted by a marquee victory over Oklahoma State's Cody Merrill, who would go on to become an NCAA finalist later that season. Endene also secured a win over Pittsburgh's Mac Stout, a 2025 All-American, proving he can hang with the nation's elite. This experience makes him a major addition for Little Rock as they look to build a competitive roster.
