The Las Vegas Raiders walked away from the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh with one of the most promising rookie classes in the league—and according to ESPN, one of their later picks is poised to make an immediate splash.

After grabbing star quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick and adding Arizona safety Treydan Stukes in the second round, the Raiders continued to build depth on Day 3. They selected former Auburn defensive end Keyron Crawford and Texas A&M center Trey Zuhn III in the third round, and it's Zuhn who has caught the eye of ESPN analyst Field Yates.

In ESPN’s feature titled "2026 NFL Rookies: Day 2-3 draft picks with instant impact," Yates highlighted Zuhn as a potential Week 1 starter. "Zuhn is an easy mover with really good length (6-foot-6, 319 pounds) and could play an interior spot in Klint Kubiak's zone-heavy scheme," Yates wrote. "While big-ticket free agent Tyler Linderbaum has center locked, Zuhn should compete for guard snaps instantly."

Zuhn’s versatility is his biggest asset. Over five seasons at Texas A&M (2021-2025), he logged more than 50 starts, primarily at left tackle before shifting to center for the second half of 2025. That kind of experience across multiple positions is exactly what NFL teams covet in a late-round pick.

If Zuhn can carry that momentum into training camp, he could earn a starting role on the Raiders' offensive line and emerge as one of the biggest steals of the entire draft.
