In a powerful display of fan discontent, AC Milan's Curva Sud stood nearly empty during the second half of their 3-2 defeat to Atalanta, marking a new low in a season that has left the Rossoneri faithful deeply frustrated.

The loss, Milan's third in their last five Serie A matches, leaves them locked in fourth place alongside Roma with 67 points and just two games remaining. But it wasn't just the scoreline that told the story—it was the message from the stands.

Before kick-off, ultras in the iconic Curva Sud had already made their feelings clear, urging club director Giorgio Furlani to leave after yet another disappointing campaign. As the match unfolded and Atalanta raced to a 3-0 lead within 53 minutes, the tension boiled over. Substituted players were met with loud boos as they trudged to the bench, and the jeers continued at full-time.

Many supporters, both ultras and ordinary fans, chose to leave San Siro early, leaving the Curva Sud virtually deserted for the second half. But those who remained made their voices heard in a different way—by chanting the name of Paolo Maldini, the club legend who was controversially sacked in the summer of 2023, just one year after helping secure Milan's 19th Scudetto.

The protests didn't end at the final whistle. Outside the Stadio Meazza, a group of ultras gathered near the garage gates, continuing their demonstration against both the club and the players. Chants against Furlani rang out once more, while the players were urged—none too politely—to show some fight.

For a club with Milan's storied history, this season's frustrations have boiled over into a full-blown crisis of confidence. As the Rossoneri look to salvage pride in their final matches, the message from the stands is unmistakable: the fans want change, and they want it now.
