The NFL draft is just about 36 hours away from me typing this and ESPN’s Peter Schrager just dropped his second and final mock draft in which he utilizes every ounce of info or buzz he’s been receiving from around the league to make all 32 picks.

When it came time for the Chargers to select, Schrager chose to pair them with Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk, a very traitsy defender with protypical size and length for the position.

“Don’t let the two sacks of last season fool you. Faulk can play. He has all the traits coaches want, and the potential is there. Plus, edge rusher depth is a key need for the Chargers after losing Odafe Oweh.”

Faulk is a very well-filled out 6’6 and 276 pounds and will only turn 21 years old in September after his rookie season begins. While the stat sheet of his 2025 campaign does not show an elite producer, it’s his upside and off-field traits that give him a rather high floor. He’s a great leader and locker room presence which cannot be understated for a guy still 20 years old coming out. Faulk needs more polish after producing jut 19.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks over three seasons, but scouts truly believe that his best football is still ahead of him.

How do you think this pick would go over with the fan base? Would it be the right move if there are no interior offensive linemen worth taking at 22? Is there a different pass rusher you’d like to see the Chargers target? Let us know all of your thoughts below!
