Butler's roster for the 2026-27 season is now complete, and the Bulldogs are locked and loaded. New head coach Ronald Nored has secured a commitment from The Citadel transfer Christian Moore, filling the 15th and final scholarship spot on the squad.
Moore, a forward known for his shooting touch, brings a much-needed perimeter threat to Hinkle Fieldhouse. His addition rounds out a roster that blends experienced transfers with promising young talent, giving Nored a full deck to work with in his debut season at the helm.
Of the 10 players currently committed to Butler, five have officially signed on the dotted line: Samis Calderon, Treyson Anderson, Baron Walker, Jordan Ellerbee, and Eduardo Klafke. The remaining five spots are expected to be filled by walk-ons or late additions as the season approaches.
This marks a pivotal moment for the Bulldogs, who are transitioning after Thad Matta's retirement following the 2025-26 campaign. Nored, a former Butler player and assistant, returns to his alma mater with a vision to restore the program's gritty, blue-collar identity. With Moore's commitment, the pieces are in place for an intriguing new chapter in Butler basketball.
