The Buffalo Bills moved to bolster their special teams on Saturday, adding Florida punter Tommy Doman in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Buffalo had three selections in the final round of the draft thanks to yet another trade, as they shipped pick No. 213 overall to the Chicago Bears for choices No. 239 and 241 overall.

With pick 239 in rd. 7 the #Bills have taken Florida P Tommy Doman, a Michigan transfer.

Doman led FBS in hang time last season, as his average punt held up in the air for 4.5 seconds. He also landed 17 of his 50 punts inside the opposing 20-yard line. He made Pro Football Focus’s All-SEC Team last season in his first and only season with the Gators. Prior to playing in Gainseville, FL, Doman was the punter for the Michigan Wolverines in 2023 and 2024. He has experience as a holder, a kickoff specialist, and as a placekicker in addition to serving as punter.

Buffalo has one punter, Mitch Wisnowsky, on the roster. The veteran was the third of three punters used by the Bills last season. Doman will compete with Wishnowsky for a roster spot this summer.
