The Cleveland Browns may have found a hidden gem for head coach Todd Monken in this 2026 UDFA signing.

The Cleveland Browns may have found a hidden gem in undrafted free agent Aaron Anderson, and the former LSU wide receiver is making a strong case for a roster spot in the 2026 season.

After a successful draft class that brought in key offensive pieces like Utah left tackle Spencer Fano and wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, the Browns' offense under head coach Todd Monken is generating serious buzz. But while the early-round picks have grabbed headlines, it's Anderson who has turned heads during rookie training camp.

Anderson, 5-foot-8 and 188 pounds, burst onto the college scene in 2024 with 61 receptions for 884 yards and five touchdowns, putting him on the radar of NFL scouts. However, his production dipped in 2025 to just 398 receiving yards on 33 catches, partly due to instability at LSU's quarterback position. That decline caused him to go undrafted, but the Browns quickly scooped him up.

Now, Anderson is flashing the speed and agility that made him a dynamic yards-after-the-catch threat in the SEC. His skill set aligns perfectly with Monken's offensive system, which favors quick, elusive playmakers who can turn short passes into big gains. If he continues to impress through the remainder of the offseason, Anderson could earn a spot on the 53-man roster by Week One.

For Browns fans, Anderson is a name worth watching—a potential steal who could provide depth and explosiveness to an already revamped offense.
