Buffalo might have gotten a steal here.

The Buffalo Bills have quietly put together one of the most under-the-radar offseasons in the NFL, addressing key needs without making headlines. But with Joe Brady taking over the reins from Sean McDermott, the pressure is on for this franchise to finally break through its playoff ceiling and bring home a Super Bowl title.

A major part of that equation? The 2026 draft class. While the Bills focused on defense early, it's a later-round pick that has fans buzzing about Josh Allen and the offense. Enter wide receiver Skyler Bell—a name that might just become a household staple in Buffalo.

CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson called Bell his "most surprising selection, but in a great way." And the scouting report is impressive: "One of the biggest surprises of the pre-draft process was learning that Bell was just a shade under 6-feet because he plays so much bigger than that. Throw in that he ran a 4.40 40 at the combine and had one of the best three-cone times of any WR drafted—he'll have a chance to quickly become one of Josh Allen's favorite targets."

That speed and agility could be exactly what the Bills need. The current receiver room—featuring DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer—is solid but not exactly elite. Bell has a real opportunity to carve out a rotational role if he puts together a strong offseason.

Receiver has been a lingering issue for Buffalo in recent years, but with the free-agent addition of Moore and the potential steal in Bell, that narrative might finally be put to rest. There's still plenty of football to be played, but if Bell can contribute as a rookie, Josh Allen could have something special cooking in 2026.
