South Jersey baseball produced plenty of top performances over the sixth week of the season. Here's our list of the best.

Week 6 of the South Jersey baseball season delivered some of the most electrifying performances yet, and we're here to spotlight the players who left it all on the diamond. From no-hit bids to milestone strikeouts, these athletes brought the heat—and we want you to decide who had the best week. Cast your vote in the poll below before it closes Friday afternoon!

Last week's winner, Haddon Heights' Carter Zetusky, dominated the voting with 38.5 percent of over 1,000 votes, followed closely by Northern Burlington's Logan Downey and Clearview's Josh Yurgin. But this week's contenders are ready to claim the crown.

Let's start with Northern Burlington's Jordan Gilligo, a senior who turned in a gem on the mound. He tossed a two-hitter with just one walk and six strikeouts, leading the Greyhounds to a 3-0 shutout over Steinert on April 2. Not content with just pitching excellence, Gilligo also crushed his first high school home run—a solo shot that proved he's a two-way threat.

Cinnaminson's Chris Pignatelli, a sophomore, swung a hot bat all week. He racked up six hits—including two doubles—and drove in five RBIs as the Pirates split their games against Holy Cross Prep Academy, Florence, and Delran. His 4-for-4 performance with two RBIs against the Lancers was a highlight, but he added three more RBIs against the Flashes to keep the momentum rolling.

Over at Pennsauken, junior Matt Prado was a walking machine. He went 4-for-6 at the plate and drew six walks, scoring seven runs as the Indians went 2-1 on the week. That hot stretch pushed his batting average to .310, and he now shares the team lead with 20 runs scored alongside Kelwin Batista and Jonauris De Leon.

Doane Academy's Josh Rivera, a sophomore, stayed scorching as his team remained undefeated. He went 6-for-9 with six RBIs in three wins, extending his hitting streak to six of his last seven games. Rivera is now batting .444 with 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored—numbers that scream consistency.

Speaking of milestones, Pennsauken's Kelwin Batista joined an elite club. The senior southpaw struck out 11 batters in Friday's game against Northern Burlington, including the 200th strikeout of his career. That's back-to-back double-digit K performances for Batista, who now has four such games this season.

Haddon Heights' Ben Alexander, a junior, came through in the clutch. He went 3-for-5 with a triple, three runs scored, and two RBIs as the Garnets took down West Deptford and Collingswood. Alexander is now batting .361 with 17 RBIs, tying him for the team lead with Cole Simon.

Finally, Sterling's Pat McVeigh, a junior, delivered a complete performance. He tossed a five-inning shutout with a career-best eight strikeouts, then helped his own cause with three hits and two RBIs at the plate. That's the kind of all-around effort that wins games—and fan votes.

Now it's your turn. Who stood out most in Week 6? Vote below and make your voice heard!
