The Baltimore Ravens have waived undrafted rookie offensive lineman Trevonte Sylvester, as confirmed by NFL Communications on Tuesday—just days after the team's rookie minicamp concluded.

Sylvester was part of a deep and diverse Ravens rookie class that includes wide receivers Cortez Braham Jr. and Octavian Smith Jr., edge rusher Ethan Burke, and defensive tackle Aaron Graves. The team also invested heavily in the offensive line, bringing in former Penn State center Nick Dawkins and offensive tackles Diego Pounds alongside Sylvester.

Sylvester's college career was marked by resilience and standout moments. In 2025, he missed the first two games due to injury but quickly rebounded, seizing the starting left tackle role against Miami and earning ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. His performance against Cal that season earned him a career-high PFF grade of 76.0. The previous year, he showcased his versatility by playing all 13 games, splitting time evenly between right and left tackle with seven starts at each position.

Before transferring to Louisville, Sylvester spent three seasons at Houston, where he appeared in 12 games primarily as a backup left tackle, totaling 114 snaps. Over his six-year collegiate career spanning Louisville (2023–25) and Houston (2020–22), he logged 34 games and 16 starts—a testament to his durability and adaptability.
