Arsenal are reportedly open to another London raid, this time targeting Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez—if the Argentine pushes for a summer exit.

Fernandez's future at Stamford Bridge is increasingly uncertain. The 23-year-old is said to be unhappy with Chelsea's direction, especially after the Blues slumped to six consecutive Premier League defeats and look set to miss out on Champions League football next season.

The World Cup winner caused a stir earlier this season when he openly discussed his desire to live in Spain, sparking rumors of interest from Real Madrid. Those comments led to him being dropped from the squad for two matches by then-manager Liam Rosenior.

But the Spanish giants aren't the only ones circling. Manchester City are also monitoring the situation, and now Arsenal have joined the race, according to TEAMtalk. The Gunners have history with cross-city transfers—most notably the £65 million move of Kai Havertz from Chelsea to the Emirates in 2023.

Despite the transfer chatter, Chelsea have no intention of letting Fernandez go. The midfielder is the club's vice-captain and signed a contract running until 2032. He arrived from Benfica in January 2023 for a then-British record fee of £106.1 million.

For now, Arsenal may have to wait and see if Fernandez forces the issue. But if he does, the North London club could be ready to strike again in this summer's transfer window.
