The Arizona Cardinals have now signed eight rookie free agents since the draft last month.

The Arizona Cardinals have been busy building their roster for the upcoming season, and they just added another promising young player to the mix. On the same day they released their 2026 schedule, the team signed rookie linebacker Stephen Dix Jr., marking their eighth undrafted free agent pickup since last month's draft.

Dix, who went undrafted out of Arkansas, brings a solid collegiate resume to the desert. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 245 pounds, he's built like a prototypical NFL linebacker—sturdy and ready to make an impact. Before his time with the Razorbacks, Dix also played for Florida State and Marshall, giving him a diverse football background.

During his two seasons at Arkansas, Dix proved to be a consistent force on the field. He appeared in 25 games, starting 20 of them, and racked up impressive numbers: 151 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery. That kind of production shows he has the instincts and work ethic to compete for a roster spot.

With this signing, the Cardinals continue to stockpile young talent, giving fans plenty of reasons to be excited about the future. Whether Dix makes the final cut or develops on the practice squad, he's another piece of the puzzle as Arizona builds toward the 2026 season.
