The 2026 Masters Tournament continues at the iconic Augusta National Golf Course on Saturday, April 11, as we enter the weekend following a dominant two rounds by the defending champion.
Defending champ Rory McIlroy is on a historic pace through the first 36 holes, holding a six-stroke lead and sitting at 12-under par for the tournament. It is the largest lead after two rounds in the tournament’s storied history.
Sitting in second place entering the weekend are Sam Burns and Patrick Reed, who are tied at 6-under.

A trio of players — Ireland’s Shane Lowry and the English pair of Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose — are tied at 5-under, and will be looking to chase down the leader throughout the weekend.
Among the big names to miss the cut were JJ Spaun (+5), Bryson DeChambeau (+6), Akshay Bhatia (+6), Cameron Smith (+7), and Robert MacIntyre (+7).
