Big news is rolling in from the world of women's golf! TMRW Sports has officially announced six new player commitments for WTGL—the highly anticipated women's version of the hit TGL league—bringing the total roster to 14. And if that wasn't enough to get your spikes laced up, they've also unveiled the league's brand-new logo.
For those just tuning in, WTGL is set to debut later this year, riding the wave of excitement from TGL's just-completed second season. The latest additions read like a who's-who of LPGA talent: Celine Boutier (a six-time LPGA winner and major champion), world No. 7 Minjee Lee (a three-time major champion), six-time LPGA winner and major champion Danielle Kang, and Megan Khang, an LPGA winner and four-time Solheim Cup team member. These stars join a roster that's already stacked with champions, Olympians, and international standouts.
"WTGL continues to build momentum as a global platform for LPGA stars and women's team golf," said Pete Jung, Chief Marketing Officer of TMRW Sports. "With today's brand reveal and 14 LPGA Tour players now committed—including major champions, Olympians, and Solheim Cup players from around the world—this milestone underscores the excitement we're seeing from players, team ownership groups, and potential partners as we prepare for WTGL's inaugural season."
There's no denying the league is gathering serious steam ahead of its 2026 launch. However, one notable name is missing from the list: world No. 1 Nelly Korda, the LPGA's biggest current star. Korda has previously expressed interest in a co-ed partnership with TGL, leaving fans to wonder if she'll eventually join the WTGL fold. Could we also see her sister, Jessica Korda, enter the mix?
Here's a quick look at the math: TGL rosters feature three players per team in each match, with two teams competing at a time. That means six players are active per match, and with 14 players committed, we're looking at enough talent for roughly four teams. It stands to reason that more big names could be on the way—and that could include the Kordas. Stay tuned, because this is one roster that's only getting stronger.
