Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson says “the dream is still alive” after they moved into the Championship play-off spots with two games remaining.

Josh Windass’ goal gave Wrexham a 1-0 win over Oxford United, with Parkinson’s side sitting sixth but only ahead of Hull City on goal difference.

“The dream’s still alive for us,” Parkinson said. “I feel in a good place. Our away form has been strong this season, and tonight was a good example of that.

“For us, there’s nothing we can do more than win. So, we don’t need to know the scores around us. We’re just concentrating on making the right decisions and getting another three points each game.

“Tonight’s win takes us up to 70 points, and that’s a good benchmark for us, in our first season in the Championship.

“Obviously, we want more, and now with two games to go, can we add to that.”
