Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was involved in worrying scenes on Wednesday after scoring a penalty to open the scoring against Celta Vigo in La Liga at Camp Nou.

Yamal won the penalty and promptly picked himself up and despatched the kick to make it 1-0 to Barcelona. However, instead of celebrating the opening goal, Yamal lay on the ground and was quickly surrounded by worried team-mates.

Yamal then walked off the pitch and went straight down the tunnel. It’s not entirely clear what’s happened, but it seems he picked up some sort of problem while scoring the penalty.

The game was then paused further due to a medical emergency in the crowd which saw the game stopped for several minutes to add to the confusion.

In the meantime, Flick decided to send on Roony Bardghji in place of Yamal, opting to make the change straightaway rather than wait for half-time.
