Wisconsin basketball transfer signee Eian Elmer is The Athletic's No. 37-ranked transfer, according to the service's updated list.
Elmer committed to the Badgers after three years at Miami (Ohio). The Cincinnati, Ohio, native increased his role and production with each season of experience. He first started 19 of 32 games as a freshman in 2023-24, averaging 18.5 minutes, seven points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.9 steals per appearance. Those totals increased to 32 starts, 11 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 2024-25, then further to 34 starts, 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.2 steals as a junior in 2025-26.
The 6-foot-6 wing is expected to slot right into the Badgers' starting lineup. He'll likely be tasked with carrying the bulk of the team's scoring load, especially with John Blackwell off to Duke and Nick Boyd out of eligibility. Notably, 247Sports lists the newest Badger as a four-star transfer prospect. He's specifically ranked as the No. 123 player in the portal and the No. 18 small forward.

Elmer is one notable Wisconsin Badger on the list; Blackwell, who committed to Duke on Tuesday, is ranked as the No. 3 transfer of the cycle.
