Starting running back Zach Charbonnet is recovering from a torn ACL and will miss the beginning of the season, opening the door for Price to shoulder a significant workload. "Jadarian Price comes into Seattle as a replacement for Kenneth Walker III, but he will be splitting carries with Zach Charbonnet and the Seahawks' backfield," Geitheim noted. "Charbonnet is coming off a torn ACL, but should return to play at some point in 2026."

Price brings a complete skill set to the NFL level. His combination of size, speed, and quickness, along with his ability to accelerate after navigating through traffic, made him a standout at Notre Dame. In his final two collegiate seasons, he averaged 710 rushing yards per year on 116.5 carries, demonstrating both efficiency and durability.
