The Cleveland Browns came into the 2026 NFL Draft with a very clear need at wide receiver. So it came as no surprise when they selected KC Concepcion in Round 1.
However, their Round 2 pick of Denzel Boston made things a lot more interesting for the WR room. With the current starters, it's fair to wonder if Jerry Jeudy now might be on the trade block.
But, as Andrew Berry told reporters, including Cleveland.com's Mark Kay Cabot, the Browns' plan at WR seems to include their two draft picks this year, along with Jeudy as one cohesive room.

"I think with receiver rooms you can have a dominant player or you can build a basketball team with different skillsets," Berry said. "We prefer the second approach," Berry said. "We feel like we have a nice, well-rounded room with speed, rac, contested catch ability, separation. We're really pleased with the youth and talent in that group."

Cleveland is utilizing a new-look WR room led by Jeudy, Boston, and Concepcion. Cedric Tillman and Isaiah Bond will also factor into the WR room as depth options.
Along with receiving threat Harold Fannin Jr. at tight end, the Browns' offensive skill group looks to be a lot more encouraging than it was heading into the offseason.
And while it would be easy to believe Jeudy could be on the move this offseason after the additions of Boston and Concepcion, it looks likely the veteran WR is staying in Cleveland.

The Browns are trying to piece together a WR room of different skillsets. Boston is a bigger-bodied receiver, while Concepcion is great after the catch, and Jeudy is someone who can sit somewhere between those two with an overall useful skillset.
While he wasn't the best as the team's number one wide receiver last year, with two others in the WR room, Jeudy could be in store for a bounce-back season.
Will the Browns trade Jeudy? It doesn't look likely based on Berry's commentary, but it's still too soon to rule anything out, especially since the Browns could draft another WR on Day 3, trade for one, or sign a top free agent left on the board.
