He's one of the best football players to ever don a Navy uniform.
That doesn't mean his NFL projection is straightforward, though.

In Dane Brugler's draft rankings for The Athletic, he's slotted as the No. 29 QB, well off the board of draft range.
The best Horvath can likely hope for is to be an undrafted free agent.

Playing in Navy's offense, Horvath was far from a traditional quarterback.
He ran for a combined 2,446 yards and 33 touchdowns in his junior and senior seasons combined.
As a passer, he threw for 2,933 yards and 25 touchdowns in those two seasons.
Horvath doesn't have an NFL quarterback skillset.
But he does have toughness, and character, and legitimate athletic ability.
It feels like there might be room for Horvath in an NFL building. As a quarterback, maybe not. But as a football player and a man, he's got a chance.
