In a display of pure offensive firepower, the Columbia Falls Wildcats put on a hitting clinic Monday evening, steamrolling Browning 25-4 in a Northwest A baseball showdown that was over almost as soon as it began.

The Wildcats (11-4) came out swinging like they had somewhere to be, plating a staggering 11 runs in the first inning alone. If that wasn't enough, they followed it up with 14 more in the second, turning the three-inning contest into a highlight reel of base hits and stolen bases.

Leading the charge was Jett Pitts, who had a night to remember. The standout finished 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in five runs, including RBI singles in both the first and second innings during the offensive explosion. When a player is that locked in, there's not much the defense can do but watch.

Pitts wasn't alone in the spotlight. Lincoln Fisher tripled and drove in two runs, while Wyatt Dodson added three RBIs of his own. Jaxson Cadwell chipped in with two hits and two RBIs, and Nico Young also collected two hits as the Wildcats racked up 15 total hits and swiped five bases. On the mound, Dodson earned the win with a scoreless first inning, striking out three. Jory Hill and Cadwell combined to finish the final two frames, allowing just one hit while fanning six batters. That pitching depth is exactly what contenders need as the season heats up.

For Browning (0-11), it was a tough outing despite some individual bright spots. Matthew Augare, Kealin Moosewah, Kayne Burke, and Keshawn Michell each drove in a run, and Alan ArrowTopKnot recorded the Indians' lone hit. With a young squad still finding its footing, there's plenty of room for growth moving forward.
