Why did Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King go undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft?
Well, the Yellow Jackets legend helped lead his school back to ranked status, but his age (25) and smaller stature compared to other prospects might have kept NFL teams from prioritizing him on their quarterback rankings.
His penchant to get yards with his legs is a big bonus, as is his tenacious spirit, but the scrambling could leave him more vulnerable to injuries in the NFL, too.
King didn't have to wait a long time to find a home. He's reportedly going to the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
