In a thrilling display of dominance at the Monster Mile, Kyle Busch captured victory in the ECOSAVE 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on May 15. The veteran driver showcased his trademark intensity, sweeping both stages and holding off a fierce challenge from Ty Majeski to secure the win.
Busch's path to victory lane wasn't without drama. After leading early, he briefly fell behind Ross Chastain in the final 100 laps, but a decisive pass with 59 laps to go put him back in control. From there, Busch never looked back, crossing the finish line ahead of the field.
Layne Riggs, Kaden Honeycutt, and Christopher Bell rounded out the top five, delivering strong performances that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Chastain, meanwhile, saw his promising run unravel after an unscheduled pit stop, dropping him to an 18th-place finish.
The race also marked a historic moment as Dystany Spurlock became the first Black woman to compete in one of NASCAR's national series. Unfortunately, her Truck Series debut ended early after a crash on Lap 40, leaving her in 36th place.
Clint Bowyer's return to the Truck Series for the first time since 2024 also ended in disappointment. The veteran battled a tire rub in the final laps before retiring with just 16 laps to go, finishing 29th.
