Another week of San Francisco Giants baseball is wrapping up, and that means it's time to crown our Player of the Week—or should we say Players of the Week? After a brief hiatus from picking over the last two weekends, we're doubling up this time to celebrate the rookies who have been making waves in May.

First up is Jesús Rodríguez, who turned heads in the Giants' 10-5 loss to the San Diego Padres on May 5th. Not only did he notch his first major league hit earlier in the game, but he followed it up with his first major league home run just a few innings later. As if that wasn't enough, he also drove in the winning run on Mother's Day for a dramatic walk-off victory. Talk about a debut to remember!

Our second honoree is Bryce Eldridge, who joined the rookie party with his own first major league home run during the Giants' 13-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates last Saturday. Sure, the scoreboard wasn't pretty, but Eldridge gave fans a reason to cheer in an otherwise tough outing. It's always exciting to see the next generation step up and make their mark.

The Giants are back in action tonight against the Athletics at 6:40 p.m. PT in Sacramento, so keep an eye on these rising stars. Whether you're cheering from the stands or sporting your favorite Giants gear at home, there's plenty of energy to carry into this series.
